This delicious chocolate and banana cheesecake simply tastes divine and is so easy to make! Right up my street! 😉
What you need:
1 packet of plain digestive biscuits (300 gr), 60 gr of butter, 4 bananas, 225 gr of sugar, 700 gr of cream cheese, 125 ml of sour cream, 4 eggs, and 250 gr of pure chocolate
Crush the biscuits in the food processor and pour in the melted butter. Line a baking tin with baking paper, grease the sides and press the biscuits mixture firmly onto the bottom of the baking tin.
Bake for 10 minutes in a 160 degrees oven and let it cool down slightly.
Melt the chocolate au bain-marie.
Mix the bananas together with the cream cheese and the sugar. Add the eggs one by one and keep on mixing.
Add the sour cream and the melted chocolate. Pour in the baking tin.
Bake for an hour at 160 degrees. Let it cool down in the oven.
I topped my cheesecake with some blueberries and chocolate crusted hazelnuts and thought it was at its best after setting a few hours in the fridge.
