Fish tacos

Looking for a fun, easy ànd quick lunch recipe? Then this might just be the thing for you. I came across these fish tacos in the latest issue of Allerhande, the magazine from AH, and tweeked it a bit. It looked so easy to make and I thought my kids would love it! And they did. ;-)...

An ice-cream a day… (testing my Domo ice-cream maker)

Summer is here, so time for (home-made) ice-cream! Domo Belgium gave me their DO9030i ice-cream maker to try out. It's rather small, but quite heavy to lift. It has a built-in compressor and can make all sorts of ice-cream. The machine starts freezing your mixture as soon as you switch it on. No need to put parts in the freezer first (very handy)!...

Strawberry Fields

I'm such a big fan of strawberries, but then again, who isn't?! When they're back in season, I often make these cute and delicious little tartelettes. They are full of flavour and colour and are so easy (and fun!) to make with your kids!...

Let’s Wok!

I teamed up with WOK Dynasty and created this simple, but tasteful recipe for you guys.... and there's a nice give-away at the end! Last week, we were invited to come down to the latest restaurant in the ever-growing Wok Dynasty-family in Boortmeerbeek. I am usually not a huge fan of these 'eat all you can eat'- type of restaurants, but this is truly a fantastic place to stop by for lunch or dinner, just the two of you or with family and friends. The decor is nice (loooove the Big Buddha!) ànd the service is quick and friendly. ...

Chocolate cake &… wine

I baked this easy-peasy (really!!) chocolate cake for a campaign I did for @bordeauxwijnen. The idea was to pair some nice Bordeaux wines with food... I had absolutely no problem with that! ;-) Today I want to share the recipe with you....

Shepherd’s pie with lentils

Last weekend, while browsing in the Delicious magazine, I came across this delicious (;-)) recipe for an easy lentil oven dish. Sounded like a perfect idea for dinner that evening and it turned out to be so good! Let me share it with all of you....

Scottish scones – simple but delicious

One of the mums at my school is from Scotland and from time to time she brings in freshly baked scones for me and the staff. And they are always soooo good! I asked her to share her recipe and it turned out to be really simple and no sugar added! I just had to give it a go, no?...

Roasted and filled sweet potato

I could eat them every day, honestly. I love them fried, mashed, made into soup, you name it. My fellow housemates however don't always share my enthusiasm for this orange vegetable, but with this recipe I got them to join #teamsweetpotato And - as everything I do - it's so easy to make. Always remember, if I can do it......
